Art on the Brain at The Holburne Museum

For the first time ever, you can visualise the impact of art on your brainwaves as Art Fund, the national charity for art, are touring technology that brings this to life in real time and in 3-D.
Join us at The Holburne and try on EEG headsets which capture your brain data while you look at the art and objects in our collection. You’ll see your brainwaves on a screen to show the impact of art on your brain.
By illustrating the impact of art on our brains and emotions, Art Fund hopes to encourage visiting museums and galleries with a National Art Pass, which allows people to enjoy free entry to hundreds of museums, galleries and historic houses across the UK as well as 50% off major exhibitions and discounts in museum shops and cafes.
The headsets are adjustable and suitable for adults. Children are welcome to join and try the headsets too.
This is a free drop-in event, included in your general admission ticket.
