Kokedama Plant Balls Workshop

Join this hands-on Kokedama workshops and learn the ancient Japanese inspired art of creating potless houseplants which can be suspended in the air or displayed as a decorative centrepiece. Literally translated from the Japanese KOKA meaning moss and DAMA meaning ball these space saving miniature gardens make unique and unusual gifts.
This workshop class at No. 1 Royal Crescent will be led by Sian Quarren Evans, a landscape architect who has worked worldwide. Now settled in Bath, she became one of the first volunteers at The Urban Garden and often holds creative workshops at their garden centre in Victoria Park.
In the workshop, you will make a kokedama with a choice of 3 plants. There will also be an opportunity to visit the exhibition The Botanical world of Mary Delany and Georgie Hopton – a domestic arrangement included in the workshop price.
All materials included. No experience necessary – full supervision will be provided.
Price includes a glass of prosecco or non-alcoholic alternative. Tea and coffee will be available.
