Movie at the Museum: The Personal History of David Copperfield

As part of this year’s Curious Minds Festival, watch some fantastic films in the impressive surrounds of the city’s museums.
Screening at the Museum of Bath at Work is Armando Iannucci’s adaptation of The Personal History of David Copperfield (2019). This heartwarming and quirky re-telling of a young man’s rise and fall in society bears many similarities to Charles Dickens own life in the Victorian period. Sitting within the Bowler’s bottles and engineering contraptions is the ideal way to experience this fantastically funny adaptation of a Dickens classic.
