Nnedi Okorafor in conversation with Natasha Pulley
24 February @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Mr B’s welcomes multi-award-winning author, Nnedi Okorafor, all the way from Arizona to chat about her spectacular new novel, Death of the Author.
Death of the Author is a sweeping story about a disabled Nigerian American who writes a science fiction novel that becomes a global phenomenon – but at a price. A tale about family, culture and identity, this blends the tenderness of Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow with the ambition of How High We Go in the Dark.
Nnedi Okorafor is an international award-winning bestselling writer of science fiction and fantasy, and has received a litany of awards including the Hugo Award, Locus Award and World Fantasy Award. Her previous novels include Lagoon, Who Fears Death, and the incredibly popular Binti series. She has books currently being adapted for TV by HBO, Amazon Studies, and 20th Century Fox.
Nnedi will be in conversation with Natasha Pulley, bestselling novelist of many Mr B’s faves including The Watchmaker of Filigree Street, The Kingdoms, The Mars House, and the upcoming The Hymn to Dionysus.
