Origami Spring Flowers for the Family at No.1 Royal Crescent
24 May @ 10:00 am – 1 June @ 4:00 pm
Free with museum entry – no advance booking required
Celebrate all things botanical this May half term! Come and make a beautiful origami flower at No.1 Royal Crescent, inspired by both their exhibition The botanical world of Mary Delany and Georgie Hopton – a domestic arrangement, and the new nature-themed exhibition In Bloom at the Museum of East Asian Art (MEAA).
Spot the prints of Mary Delany’s botanical ‘paper mosaiks’ as you look round No.1 Royal Crescent, and then make your favourite flower from origami.
Afterwards, why not visit MEAA to see more beautiful botanical art, and pick up a special origami blossom spotters’ trail!
