Why do Pilates?
It improves posture and alignment, enhances balance and co-ordination skills, increases flexibility and range of motion, promotes relaxation and reduces stress, builds strength and stability, helps improve clarity and focus.
Ant Middleton, soldier, adventurer and a true leader of positive mindset does Pilates and instantly recognised the many benefits of the practice – “I think it gives me the flexibility, strength and balance that doesn’t just help me with exercise but daily life tasks to keep me stronger and healthier for longer.”
It is increasingly well published that many elite athletes and sportsmen do Pilates as a vital component of their exercise programme. Here’s just a few who are well known for incorporating the practice into their training:
- Andy Murray
- Tiger Woods
- Lebron James
