SCAFFOLDING – at the Ustinov Studio

Event Series Event Series (See All)

22 May @ 7:30 pm 8:30 pm

Sheridan is having a bad day. Her church is closing, Adult Social Care are on her case, and she can’t work out which ingredients she needs to make a bomb. With no one else to turn to, she climbs the scaffolding around a leaking steeple with a few questions for Whoever Is In Charge.

Following a critically acclaimed run at Edinburgh Fringe, Scaffolding is an explosive new play by Devon based Documental Productions about strength, love and community – performed by Kerry Norton and directed by Natalie Simone.

★★★★ “Achingly lovely” The Stage

★★★★ “Funny, frank and clear-sighted” The Scotsman

On the 23rd May, SCAFFOLDING is also touring as a Double Bill performance with original songs on themes of connection written by carers and young people with Learning Disabilities in the Documental Productions community. The lyrics are set to Makaton and it will be a chance to hear brilliant original songs and learn a few Makaton signs (the signing system for non-verbal people).

Every show is Relaxed, and we will have sensory items available including ear defenders, weighted blankets and stim toys. We also have a Visual Story available.
