Solargazing with the Bath Astronomers
29 March @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Solargazing with the Bath Astronomers: Partial Solar Eclipse.
Visit the Herschel Museum of Astronomy to have the opportunity to take part in daytime astronomy on the day of the ‘Partial Solar Eclipse’ from the very garden the Planet Uranus was discovered in 1781.
The solar telescopes and Bath Astronomers will be in the garden from 10am to 4pm to guide you so you can observe the Sun safely and tell you more about your nearest star.
Approximately 30 to 40 per cent of the sun will be obscured, from 10.07am to noon, with maximum coverage taking place at 11.03am.
Free with normal admission to the museum.
Generously supported by the Bath Astronomers.
