Box fresh Bristol and London, Sungrass, are ready to cook up a storm.
Drawing inspiration from the melodic sensibilities of contemporary jazz artists such as The RH Factor, Pat Metheny and Butcher Brown, their original music also leans into influences from Gospel, Fusion, and Soul. At times sincere and heartfelt, at others blistering with energy, this group is not one to miss.
Expect trumpet led explorations through a rich world of soulful hooks and improvisation.
