Tam Lin Retold
29 February @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm
The ballad may be known as Tam Lin, but he’s only a part of it. Part sung, part told, this is a tale of poison, pluck and changing shape.
Described by audiences as ‘enthralling’ and ‘fresh and full of life’, Tam Lin Retold explores untold stories and unsung voices. Enchanting and sharp in equal measure, this is badass border balladry for the old and the new.
More about Corinne
Corinne is a Bristol-based performance storyteller with mixed Irish/British heritage. She creates original work based on folktales, myths and legends viewed through a contemporary lens. She is committed to telling stories that re-centre marginalised voices and silenced histories. As well as engaging with traditional storytelling practices, she uses physical theatre, stand-up comedy & audience participation to create brand-new storytelling performances for a modern audience.
The production is raising funds to support the design, rehearsal and marketing for this show, so if you can donate to their Crowdfunder, no matter how large or small, your contribution will be most gratefully received.
