Lady Florence Baker was sold as a slave, became the wife of Sir Samuel Baker and helped to suppress the African slave trade with him.
David Baker will tell the story of Florence and Sam’s tribulations while exploring and putting down the slave trade and Jacki Hill-Murphy will share her findings and unique drone footage from her recent visit to some of the key sites in Uganda.
