On the docks of Whitby harbour The Demeter, a Russian merchant ship, pulls into view. Her crew are missing and, at the wheel, the corpse of her dear captain is bound with a look of terror etched across his face. Below deck there is no cargo aside from several wooden crates marked from Transylvania.
THE DEMETER is the creeping comic retelling of Dracula’s journey to England. Aboard the eponymous ship, a crew of miscreant sailors must confront the growing evil that looms over them: English Imperialism! Plus someone keeps biting them on the neck. For some reason.
