The Twelve Days of Lute-song, with Musicke in the Ayre

A concert of 16/17th century songs to the lute and baroque guitar with a light seasonal touch: each song mentions one or more of the items listed in “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. Songs by our favourite lute-song composers such as Dowland and Campion mingle with more unusual fare by Ravenscroft, Morley, Gibbons, and even some French and Spanish stuff.
Join soprano Jane Hunt and lutenist Din Ghani for some early-season delights.
Refreshments available before and after the concert.
