Two Worlds: Art in 1930s Germany

This talk will examine the Nazi promotion of culture as propaganda and the reaction of artists to the circumstances of the time. The two Munich exhibitions of 1937, the Great German Exhibition and the Entartete Kunst (Degenerate Art Exhibition), will be the focus of the discussion.
