International Women's Day - Where Women Were

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Bath Preservation Trust proudly hosts, ‘Where the Women Were.’ Introduced by Bath Preservation Trust‘s (BPT) first female Chair Eve Salomon CBE, BPT’s Dr Amy Frost and Buro Happold‘s Alice Brook as they journey through time discussing significant women in architecture and engineering.

Doors open at 5.30 pm. A bar will be available serving wine, beer and soft drinks.

Members and non-members of all genders and ages, including children (recommended age 10+) are welcome to this event.

There will be an opportunity for ticket holders to explore the museum, which is currently closed to the public, before and after the talk.

The Bath Preservation Trust campaigns for and promotes the conversation, sustainable enhancement and celebration of the unique and historic city of Bath a World Heritage Site.

Founded in 1934 to conserve the city’s unique architectural heritage and challenge unsustainable development. They want to foster a place that can positively adapt to Climate Change and continue to evolve through sustainable and holistic design-led development, to complement and add value to its global reputation as a living heritage city. Today they have over 1,000 members.

They also support museums such as No.1 Royal Crescent, the Herschel Museum of Astronomy, Beckford’s Tower and the Museum of Bath Architecture.
