Join Tim Minshall, the renowned author of “Your Life Is Manufactured”, for an insightful and entertaining tour through our manufactured world!
Where do the things we buy actually come from? What are all the stages necessary to produce all our “stuff”’?
From mega-factory floor, engineering laboratories and seaports to distribution hubs, supermarkets and our own homes there exists a nearly invisible global system of manufacturing.
Tim Minshall is the inaugural Dr John C. Taylor Professor of Innovation at the University of Cambridge, the head of the Engineering Department’s Institute for Manufacturing and a fellow of Churchill College.
