Forest of the Imagination

The event celebrates its 10th birthday this summer and will highlight the beauty and biodiversity in a multisensory installation at the Assembly Rooms in Bath from 14 June to 14 July.

From June 16th to August 13th 2023, Bath on the Beach appears like magic at the park’s edge. It is a perfect place to chill with friends, sipping summer cocktails beneath palm trees, making the most of the good weather, and challenging your friends to the free beach games.

Bath Carnival

Bath Carnival

Bath Carnival on 8th July is one of the best events in the summer calendar. The city will come to life with a whole day of colour, music and joyful celebration brought to you by a huge team of volunteers. The parade goes through the city centre in the afternoon, concluding with a free party festival at Sydney Gardens and late night after party. Bath Carnival relies on donations and volunteers to keep going. You can help them work with all Bath communities by making a small donation.

The Holburne Museum Garden

The Garden Theatre Festival

Bath’s Open-Air Theatre Festival, from 21st July to 7th August. Expect two weeks of family-friendly outdoor performances from nationally renowned companies in the glorious setting of the Holburne Museum Gardens.

Summer Sundays, free family fun

The city will host Summer Sundays events in July and August. There will be roving performers, family fun and craft activities in the open air in Kingsmead Square and around the city centre.
