Bath BID has been working to brighten up Union Passage and Northumberland Place with bunting, lights and flowers. Twelve planters were handmade for the area, and planted by BID Rangers and volunteers from Bath in Bloom. The plants are carefully chosen to thrive in the shade, and include 17 ferns that were used as centrepieces in Bath BID’s Spring Showcase event earlier this year.
Union Passage and Northumberland Place is home to a wide range of shops, cafes and a pub, and is one of the oldest shopping streets in Bath.
