Who is the Bath BID?
Bath Business Improvement District (Bath BID) is an independent, not-for-profit, business-led initiative working to create the environment for businesses in Bath to succeed.
The Bath BID works on several projects throughout the city of Bath that focus on improving footfall, keeping staff and guests safe and creating a welcoming environment for growth.
What is a Levy Payer?
In the Bath BID designated commercial area, a levy is charged to all business rate payers in addition to the business rates bill. This levy is used to develop projects which will benefit businesses in the local area, one of these is the ReBalance Bath festival. This means all levy payers are to take part!
How can I be involved as a practitioner?
There are a few different ways you can be involved:
For free:
- Host your event in a levy payer venue. Please contact one of the venues directly in the ReBalance Business Directory here or the Bath BID will pair you with a venue if the venue are interested in hosting a session with your expertise.
- Host your event outdoors within Bath
If you already have a venue but they are not a levy payer there is a small charge of £150. This is because one of the aims of the festival is to support the businesses that are part of the Bath BID.
However, we don’t want to exclude anyone so for the small fee of £150 you can –
- Be part of the ReBalance Bath Festival
- Deliver up to three events during the festival
- Be part of the festival marketing campaign
- Be invited to the launch event
This year we are partnering with Bath Box Office to sell our tickets for the festival. This means guests will be able to select multiple activities while browsing the website and we will be able to promote the festival to the Box Office mailing list of 54,000 people, making the festival even bigger.
