School Bus Chaperone
Permanent, Part-time
8.75 hours per week Monday to Friday term time only
£17.04 per hour, plus holiday pay

Are you passionate about working with children and ensuring their safety? We are looking for a responsible and caring individual to join our friendly team as a Bus Chaperone.

The role is for 8.75 hours per week to be worked 36 weeks per year with the hours of work being 3.15pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday during term time only.

The successful candidate will be based at our Weston Lane site, and we offer a competitive salary plus holiday pay and free parking. A comprehensive induction, including full training will be provided.

This role is crucial for ensuring a safe and positive experience for young children during their end of day commute. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children aged between 3 and 18 years old, during their bus journey, which will involve you taking a register, assisting children boarding and disembarking and helping with seat belts.

The successful candidate would ideally have previous experience of working with children, be patient, reliable, caring and hold a paediatric first aid certificate.
