Thank you for your interest in being part of the ReBalance Bath festival. Here are some more details about who we are and how you can get involved in the festival as a non-levy payer business.
Who is the Bath BID?
Bath Business Improvement District (Bath BID) is an independent, not-for-profit, business-led initiative working to create the environment for businesses in Bath to succeed.
The Bath BID works on several projects throughout the city of Bath that focus on improving footfall, keeping staff and guests safe and creating a welcoming environment for growth.
What is a levy payer?
In the Bath BID designated commercial area, a levy is charged to all business rate payers in addition to the business rates bill. This levy is used to develop projects which will benefit businesses in the local area, one of these is the reBalance Bath Festival. This means all levy payers are welcome to take part in the festival for free.
Can I be involved?
Yes! We would be delighted to have you as part of our festival, but we ask for a small fee of £150.
The fee means
- You can deliver up to three events during the festival
- You will be a part of the festival marketing campaign
- You will be invited to the launch event

This year we are partnering with Bath Box Office to sell our tickets for the festival. This means guests will be able to select multiple activities while browsing the website and we will be able to promote the festival to the Box Office mailing list of 54,000 people, making the festival even bigger.
