As Bath reopens, we’re looking forward to welcoming you back.
Most of the city’s attractions, spas, shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés have now reopened with safety precautions in place.
Whether you’re ready and raring to go, or want to research before your trip, we have some great suggestions to help you plan a safe and enjoyable visit.

A WARM WELCOME
The wonderful Bath BID Welcome Ambassadors are back in the city and excited to welcome people back to Bath.
These volunteers are the friendly faces of Bath, offering everybody a warm and informed welcome to the city centre. Look out for them as you wander around the city; they will be dressed in bright blue Welcome to Bath jackets.
If you have a question or are looking for advice or recommendations, the team will be happy to help.
WHAT’S NEW?
Despite the difficulties of the past year, Bath is now open and ready to welcome people back. You will even spot some new businesses as you wander around the city centre.

WHAT’S ON?
Bath is home to a packed calendar of events. Take your pick from local markets, comedy nights, theatre performances fresh off the West End, sporting fixtures, world-class festivals and more.
With the government’s strategy for the gradual easing of lockdown laid out, plans for many of the city’s events and festivals have now been announced, with plenty of virtual and socially distanced activities to choose from.
SUMMER SUNDAYS
Bath is open and ready to welcome you back this summer. Head into the city in June, July and August for Summer Sundays, a programme of entertainment, events and activities for all the family.
With a wide range of events and activities taking place in various venues and locations across the city this summer, there is something for everyone.
LOVE LOCAL
Bath’s businesses need your support more than ever. As the city reopens its doors, we encourage you to support Bath’s businesses by shopping local.
Although Bath’s businesses are excited to be back, don’t forget that as businesses return from a long period of being away, some members of staff may be anxious, and things may take a bit longer than usual.
BATH IN BLOOM
This summer, Bath is welcoming people back with a floral flourish, as the city is entered into the annual Britain in Bloom competition.
Bath was the national winner of the first ever Bath in Bloom competition in 1964, and has secured over 15 awards since then.
This year, there are plenty of bright blooms to discover around the city, and you can take your very own floral tour, just as the Britain in Bloom judges have done, using our interactive Bath in Bloom map.
