SUMMER FUN IN THE CITY
In June, July and August, we celebrated the city’s reopening with Summer Sundays, a programme of entertainment, events and activities for all the family.
Visitors could enjoy pop-up entertainment around the city centre, free family-friendly workshops, and a plethora of festivals and events.

FREE THINGS TO DO
There were plenty of ways to celebrate Summer Sundays in Bath without breaking the bank.
Visitors could enjoy a variety of pop-up performances, from Jane Austen dancers to samba bands, around the city centre.
On some Summer Sundays, our talented balloon artist and face painters were out and about in the city centre.
There were also free family-friendly arts and crafts workshops at 15 Cheap Street between 12pm and 4pm, with a variety of creative activities on offer.
Visitors could also enjoy the array of festivals and events taking place across the city on Summer Sundays.
Bath Fringe Festival took place from 28th May to 13th June, with SparkFest running until 19th June. Food-lovers could enjoy Pub in the Park, from 18th to 20th June. The Bath Festival Finale Weekend returned to Bath Recreation Ground on 7th and 8th August, offering a festival atmosphere for all the family.
With such a wide range of events and activities taking place in various venues and locations across the city, there really was something for everyone.
