SUMMER FUN IN THE CITY
Bath is open and ready to welcome you back this summer. Head into the city in June, July and August for Summer Sundays, a programme of entertainment, events and activities for all the family.
Discover pop-up entertainment around the city centre, free family-friendly workshops, and a plethora of festivals and events.
Don’t miss Welcome Back to Bath Day on Sunday 27th June, where you will be able to meet the Bath BID Welcome Ambassadors and celebrate the return of entertainment and events to the city.

FREE THINGS TO DO
There are plenty of ways to celebrate Summer Sundays in Bath without breaking the bank.
As you wander around the city centre, you’ll spot a variety of pop-up performances, from Jane Austen dancers to samba bands.
On some Summer Sundays, you will spot our talented balloon artist out and about in the city centre, or perhaps you will come across our free face painting.
Get your creative juices flowing with free family-friendly arts and crafts workshops at 15 Cheap Street between 12pm and 4pm – check our Summer Sundays event listings below for date-specific details.
You can also enjoy an array of festivals and events that will be taking place across the city on Summer Sundays.
This year’s Bath Fringe Festival takes place from 28th May to 13th June, with SparkFest running until 19th June. Food-lovers won’t want to miss Pub in the Park, from 18th to 20th June. The Bath Festival Finale Weekend will be returning to Bath Recreation Ground on 7th and 8th August, offering a festival atmosphere for all the family.
With such a wide range of events and activities taking place in various venues and locations across the city this summer, there really is something for everyone.
WELCOME BACK TO BATH DAY
On Sunday 27th June, we will be celebrating the reopening of the city with Welcome Back to Bath Day.
The Bath BID Welcome Ambassadors will be ready to welcome you into the city centre, handing out maps and answering your questions.
Keep an eye out for pop-up performers as you wander around the city, and enjoy on-street entertainment courtesy of Bath Fringe Festival as part of their Bedlam Fair.
