Join curator Basia Kearey in conversation with exhibiting artists Fabio Almeida, Richard Crooks, David Ferry, and Marq Kearey with Sandra Higgins, the gallery owner, for an open discussion exploring the diverse practices and evolving language of collage.
The event aims to celebrate the vitality of difference within the shared language of collage.
Each artist in ‘Cut and Continue’ approaches collage from a distinct perspective — from architectural and material abstraction to photographic montage, narrative construction, and painterly layering. This conversation will trace how their methods have developed over time, how experimentation has shaped their processes, and how their differing philosophies and materials reflect the expansive possibilities of collage.
