Reimagining Kingston Parade

Kingston Parade (pictured to the right) has become a ‘no go’ area. It’s too hot and has no greenery at all. In the heat of summer 2026, even the buskers abandoned it. Kingston Parade could be a thriving city centre square, setting the tone for a visit to Bath. What is missing? What could be different? This interactive workshop is an opportunity for the business people of Bath to start the thinking process and make some recommendations.

We’ll start by agreeing on the challenges of the area before moving into a collaborative visioning exercise: what could Kingston Parade become?

We have gathered a group of real experts in biophilic city thinking, engaging group interaction and landscape design to lead this session where you are invited to help reimagine one of Bath’s most overlooked public spaces.

We hope that the workshop will be a genuine opportunity to shape real change. Together we’ll explore what’s achievable now, what we might do with a bit of fundraising, and what should be prioritised in the city’s wider regeneration plans.
