The Argyle String Orchestra Winter Concert
20 November @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Returning for their winter concert, the Argyle String Orchestra presents two of the finest examples of Baroque string writing – Bach’s vivifying Brandenburg Suite #3 and Corelli’s masterful Christmas Concerto. Alongside these works, the programme will feature the raw energy of Mendelssohn’s String Symphony #7, the hypnotic soundscape of Summa by Estonian minimalist composer Arvo Pärt, and a luscious Romance by oft-overlooked British composer Gerald Finzi.
The concert will be conducted by Adam Laughton and led by Tamsin Oldham.
Teas, coffees and homemade cakes available during the interval.
Please note that seating is unreserved.
