The Bath Recreation Ground, known locally as “The Rec”, is home to Bath Recreation, a self-funded charity dedicated to providing opportunities for the community to lead healthy, active and happy lives through sport and recreation. Alongside the Glasshouse Academy Pavilion and Grounds and Broadmoor Lane Orchard & Play Park, it hosts an array of programmes for the community, including the Glasshouse Academy and Buds initiatives that provide children with opportunities to grow and contribute to their communities. The ground is also home to notable tenants including Bath Rugby, Bath Croquet Club and Bath Sports & Leisure Centre, making it one of the city’s key sporting and recreational hubs.
