Henrietta Park is a tranquil, beautifully landscaped 10-acre park in Bathwick, just a 5-minute walk from the city centre, opened in 1897 to mark Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. Its impressive tree collection includes two national and several regional “champions” (the largest or tallest of their kind), with winding paths dividing the space into peaceful, self-contained areas. A highlight is the charming remembrance water garden, where scented planting surrounds a formal pond with secluded seating. Level and easily accessible, the park is also available to hire for community events and outdoor theatre.
