RIVER AVON

The River Avon winds its way through the heart of Bath, flowing beneath Pulteney Bridge and over the weir on its journey from the Cotswolds to the Bristol Channel. It’s shaped the city for centuries, once a vital trade route to Bristol, now home to some of Bath’s most scenic riverside walks, with the view around Pulteney Weir and Parade Gardens among the most photographed spots in the city.
