Terrace Walk and Parade Gardens Urns

Terrace Walk enjoys stunning views down to Parade Gardens and the River Avon, with floral urns sponsored by a range of businesses and planted by volunteers with help Bath BID Rangers.

Known to locals as ‘Bog Island’, the triangular section of Terrace Walk was once home to a public toilet, before being purchased in the late-1970s and converted into an underground nightclub. In the 1990s, it was found to be unsafe and was closed, but you can still see its entrance, complete with signage that reads ‘The Island Club’.
