Comedy Maverick Trevor Lock Brings Wordplay and Wit to Bath

Bath audiences are in for a treat this autumn. On Thursday 17 October, acclaimed comedian Trevor Lock brings his hit show How to Drink a Glass of Water to St James’s Wine Vaults.

Part poetry, part philosophy, part joyous silliness, Lock rewrites the English dictionary, lists the countless things that the world is and even demonstrates the proper way to sip from a humble glass of water. Expect the unexpected: Lock’s performances are part stand-up, part live happening—always unrepeatable.

With credits spanning BBC Radio 4, Channel 4, Comedy Central, and three seasons of the BAFTA-nominated and British Comedy Award winning Star Stories, Lock has long been at the cutting edge of British comedy. He’s toured with Stewart Lee and Paul Foot, hosted and headlined Covent Garden comedy nights that featured the likes of Jo Caulfield and Milton Jones, and even addressed the Oxford Union on the meaning of life.

Beyond the stage, he runs Reality Games, a creativity and mental health workshop, and coaches comics through his Joke Hospital programme.

Tickets are now on sale—don’t miss this night of surreal laughter and sparkling wordplay in the heart of Bath.
