Extending Cyanotypes

Usually made on dry sensitised paper, in this Extended Cyanotypes workshop you’ll explore making experimental ‘wet’ cyanotypes. In the creative and supportive environment of a small group, watch the process being done, handle several examples and then try the process for yourself.
Bath Spa University’s Extended Cyanotypes workshop is designed so everyone can participate at whatever level suits them. The process is experimental so there is no right or wrong. No former experience is needed to create surprising and beautiful outcomes using cyanotype chemicals combined with everyday materials such as turmeric, salt and beetroot juice.
