Featuring original pieces by Picasso, Matisse, Hockney, Chagall, Miro and many more, ‘Natural World’ explores how their fascination with nature is inextricably linked to some of the most celebrated artworks of the last century.

Whether it’s Matisse’s beloved florals, Chagall’s enchanting animals or Hockney’s unrivalled landscapes, one thing is clear – exceptional artists do not simply replicate the natural world. Rather, they enable us to reimagine it, providing a compass with which we can navigate and revel in the environment we inhabit.

Guided Tours at the Bath Assembly Rooms
