This February, Hidden Gallery in Bath are excited to be showcasing a new exhibition - ‘Natural World’. This stunning new collection is replete with original, hand-signed prints and limited-edition sculptures by some of the most significant names in modern and contemporary art. Featuring original pieces by Picasso, Matisse, Hockney, Chagall, Miro and many more, ‘Natural World’ explores how their fascination with nature is inextricably linked to some of the most celebrated artworks of the last century.
Whether it’s Matisse’s beloved florals, Chagall’s enchanting animals or Hockney’s unrivalled landscapes, one thing is clear – exceptional artists do not simply replicate the natural world. Rather, they enable us to reimagine it, providing a compass with which we can navigate and revel in the environment we inhabit.
Come to Bath Assembly Rooms for a guided tour of the magnificent ground floor rooms.
Lasting 45 minutes to an hour, the tour explores the history of this historic building. Find out about the links to Jane Austen, Bridgerton filming and how the building has been used since it was built in 1771. You can also hear a little about the plans for the future.
