Discover Magical Illuminations
Some of Bath’s most iconic streets and buildings will be brought to life with magical illuminations throughout the festive period. Join the magical starry lantern parade at the Bath Lights the Night on 23rd November. In November and December, you and your family are invited to enjoy the rainbow illuminations in Milsom Street, colourful columns at the Roman Baths, and the spectacular stars adorning Bath Abbey. The exquisite starry theme continues with The Light of Stars Exhibition inside Bath Abbey.

Father Christmas’s Grotto at Milsom Place (28th November to 24th December) is a magical interactive experience in the heart of Bath. Booking ahead online is highly recommended.
From 28th November to 15th December, Bath Christmas market is back! All the familiar favourite festive sights and smells are a perfect way to get you feeling in the mood for some quality time with your families and friends this year.
A world of enchantment, magic and good cheer awaits you at the American Museum & Gardens. Families are sure to love the Festive Trail with the cute characters from Alice Tait’s storybook No, Nancy, No! A Dog Chase in New York. In December, the Georgian Manor House will be festooned with hundreds of beautiful, artisan decorations, with a stunning 18-foot fir tree taking pride of place in Central Hall. Dressed with 9000 twinkling lights and unique ornaments, a visit to the classic tree is lovely way to get in touch with real Christmas spirit and take some family photos. Visitors can keep warm with seasonal drinks and a banquet of festive treats.

Time to limber up, Bath on Ice is back! Head to Royal Victoria Park from 15th November to 5th January for some festive fun. Bath on Ice’s Alpine Bar will be serving delicious food, spicy mulled wine and hot chocolate; ideal to warm you up after a spin around the rink.
Combine a trip to Bath on Ice with a round of Glow Golf. The illuminated 18-hole adventure golf course has become a staple of the city’s winter calendar, with couples, families and friends challenging each other to a round with glow-in-the-dark golf balls.
